You don’t have to spend a fortune to have a pleasant stay in Mykonos, Greece. We had such a comfortable room at WITH INN in Mykonos, with gorgeous views (and with breakfast served, as part of the package, each morning – there was little to complain about!) and a stunning bathroom (with two shower heads!), I was surprised at what a good price the room rate was! The place is run by a warm and kind mother-and-son duo, who are happy to arrange for your transportation to and from the airport free of charge and each cook some pretty delicious omelettes!
Our stay in Mykonos was blessed with wonderful weather. The locals would constantly remind us that the island was known as the “Island of the Winds” and we should have counted ourselves lucky to escape its grasp!
I was delighted, however, to experience some of this legendary wind when Han and I visited the Mykonos dam. We took a nice drive across barren land and found ourselves towards a dirt road. I actually found the more rough around the edges urban planning aesthetically interesting – so we stopped to take some photos – and I just loved the movement captured in these series of photos of my LAVISH ALICE top blowing in the breeze. It’s structured as a crop top with two pieces of fabric connecting at the back – which makes me feel like I have wings! It looks great layered over a neutral toned skirt and I love how light it is!
